…one whose tongue giveth utterance to His [Bahá’u’lláh’s] Words with true faith shall have his abode in Paradise, wherein he will be seized with ecstasy in praise and glorification of God, the Ever-Abiding, Whose revelations of glory never end and the reviving breaths of Whose holiness never fail.
- The Báb, Selections from the Writings of the Báb, p. 98
The decoration and adornment of the tongue consists in praising and thanksgiving to the Lord Almighty, especially when a man is guided by divine grace and mercy to the path of guidance and when he is intoxicated by the chalice of boundless blessings.
- Abdu’l-Bahá, Tablets of Abdu’l-Bahá v3, p. 689
