About Daily Verses

Bahá'u'lláh, the Author of the Bahá'í Faith, has placed a great emphasis on the practice of reading the Holy verses. Thus He exhorts us,"Recite ye the verses of God every morn and eventide." He further strongly emphasizes it's importance, "Whoso faileth to recite them hath not been faithful to the Covenant of God and His Testament, and whoso turneth away from these holy verses in this Day is of those who throughout eternity have turned away from God."

In one of His tablets Bahá'u'lláh elucidates the greatness of the Word of God, "The Word is the master key for the whole world, inasmuch as through its potency the doors of the hearts of men, which in reality are the doors of heaven, are unlocked." And again, "Every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God is endowed with such potency as can instill new life into every human frame, if ye be of them that comprehend this truth."

His Son and Successor, Abdu'l-Bahá further contributes to this subject, "Today nothing but the power of the Word of God which encompasses the realities of things can bring the thoughts, the minds, the hearts and the spirits under the shade of one Tree. He is the potent in all things, the vivifier of souls, the preserver and the controller of the world of mankind."

This blog aims to serve with the practice of reading the verses of God by providing drops from the limitless ocean of the Bahá'í Writings. The Quotes are sent twice daily, and are based on different themes for each week (Sunday-Friday), accompanied by complimenting images.
